The Husqvarna TF325 petrol tiller is designed to take all the exhausting labour out of soil cultivation activities in residential gardens. Equipped with a range of features such as a tine shield, plant guards, reverse gearbox and foldable handlebar, this compact tiller offers amazing versatility for the dedicated home gardener.
Husqvarna TF325 Petrol Tiller Features
The machine features four rotating 320mm tines that have a working depth of 20cm up to a 60cm width. The tines rotate anti-clockwise to ensure the soil is broken up very well. It also helps to increase soil aeration and remove weeds from gardens prepared for grass seeding. The tines can prepare the soil surface for a seedbed as well as deep-dig heavy soil.
Other great additions to the tine are the shield and the optional tine extensions. The former minimizes the debris sprayed when the tines are in operation while the latter provides added efficiency for tackling heavier workloads.
The handy plant guard comes with end plates that protect plants outside the working area. This allows the operator to weed between narrow rows of plants.
- Potent overhead-valve engine
Power is supplied through a compact but powerful 163cc Briggs & Stratton petrol engine. Additionally, the four-stroke petrol engine has transmissions built for intense operation. There’s also a detachable transmission housing that comes with a lubrication nipple.
To ensure manoeuvrability and control, Husqvarna has designed this little tiller to be ergonomically pleasing. The two-speed gearbox has forward and reverse gears that improve manoeuvrability and control.
- Foldable transport wheels and handlebar
The transport wheels of the TF325 petrol tiller are foldable to facilitate transportation and are easy to raise during operation. The handlebar is adjustable and folds away for easy storage. It also offers quick and convenient access to the tiller’s controls.
Other user-friendly features of the TF325 include large driving rotors and wheels which provide good traction even in the toughest of soils. The tiller also has double carry handles and a drag bar for convenience when in operation.
With different optional accessories this machine can be converted into an ultimate garden tool performing ridging, edging and moss raking.

Bought this for my double allotment and it managed to break the ground (and till nicely) after this very wet winter gone which had been rotovated in Oct but was pretty hard! (For those wondering, I suspect with some patience you could break new grassy ground provided you cleared/cut the grass short). Reverse function is a must and costs a little more but worth it.
Radmor and Tucker delivered in person (I live in Devon) with in the 24hrs. Only mild criticism is some of the bolts where a bit loose on the handle and protection wings – so have a quick once around with a spanner when you get it. I can’t complain as given Covid19 they did a sterling job of getting it to me so quickly.
Great product and cheapest I could find – would recommend and think its a good value machine as has a powerful Briggs and Stratton engine (not RACO as per tech spec) and wide adjustable 60cm track (the Hondas are narrower and less powerful for the same money).

Delivered in late March – very efficiently by R&T and with a welcome amount of fuel in the tank to get me going.
I could not be more pleased with this piece of garden machinery. I wish I’d bought it years ago because instead of taking many hours of backbreaking digging, this did the job in less than 30 minutes. My soil is heavy clay, and this breaks it up really well. I weeded first, just to make sure nothing was spread around and then it just whizzed through the job, despite the ground being quite compacted. I repeated twice more and with a quick raking the soil was ready for planting seeds. Fantastic. This tiller digs quite deeply if you let it – up to about 18 inches or so. I think this is a big advantage, as is the reverse function, without which it would be quite hard to move around when faced with a boundary. So, all in all, I would thoroughly recommend this item.
